A Prayer to Padre Pio
Beloved Padre Pio, today I come to add my prayer to the thousands of prayers offered to you every day by those who love and venerate you in Jesus' name. They ask for cures and healings, earthly and spiritual blessings, and peace for body and mind. And because of your friendship with the Lord, he heals those you ask to be healed, and forgives those you ask be forgiven in Jesus' name. Through your visible wounds of the Crucified Jesus, which you bore for 50 years, you were chosen in our time to glorify the crucified Jesus. Because the Cross has been replaced by other symbols, please help us bring back the veneration of the wounds of Jesus Christ, for we acknowledge His Precious Blood as true a sign of salvation, cleansing and purifcation.
As we lovingly recall the wounds that pierced your hands, feet and side, like beloved Jesus Christ, we not only remember the blood He shed as you also shed in pain, along with your smile, and the invisible halo of sweet smelling flowers that surrounded your presence, certainly the Scent of The Lord, symbolic as the perfume of sanctity.

ReplyDeleteBernadette kan sudah dikeluarkan dan di lapis lilin tebel supaya awet. Tapi kalau liat Padro ini mah kayaknya belum dilapis lilin tuh.
ReplyDeletesaya pernah nonton film monk di Jepang selama hidupnya dia makan kayu. Jadi kayu tuh di gigitin terus buat Breakfast, lunch dan dinner kali yah. Nanti kalau sudah ngerendem di air dan ngambang, maka dia bertapa dalam goa sampai mati.
Di dalam goa itu isinya mummy monk yg lagi bertapa. Serem juga eui..konsepnya Live to Die. :roll:
Iya sekarang udah di lapis lilin, sebelumnya di kuburan 30 tahun loh... si Padre ini gak ada ceritanya jadi kita kan gak tau gimana sejarahnya 8)

ReplyDeletebiasa kan mumi di buat oleh manusia, di balur balsem kusus trus di wrap pake kain gt.
Gak selalu Erl.. emang ada yang secara natural jadi mumi. Misal di kubur di padang pasir yg kering banget kayak di gurun di China.. pernah ditemukan ada mumi tuh yang kondisi bagus.

ReplyDeleteBerdasarkan theory, jaman dulu bikin kain tuh gak pakai yang namanya Formalin. Jadi kalau orang sudah dikubur 30 tahun pasti bajunya juga ancur dong.. kalau bajunya gak hancur artinya pas di kubur disitu mengandung sejenis pengawet.
Yang perlu ditanyakan itu apakah St.Padre dan St.Bernadette waktu diangkat dari kubur itu utuh sama baju2xnya gak?
penasarannya sampe mikir kayak Sherlock Holmes nih.. 8O
